OA Storms signing

Oldenburg Academy senior Allison Storms (seated second from right) signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and soccer career at Centre College, Danville, Kentucky. She is joined by (seated from left) sister Evelyn ‘23; parents Diana and Shawwn Storms; (standing from left) athletic director Patrick Kolks and principal Brian McFee.

Allison Storms will continue her soccer career after graduating from Oldenburg Academy.

When asked why she chose Centre College, the senior answered, “I always thought I would know where I wanted to go to school after visiting various college campuses. I was looking for a school that would challenge me academically, athletically and, most importantly, prepare me for the world after college.

“I knew at the end of my college visit at Centre that Centre would challenge and prepare me and was the perfect fit.”

Off the field, Storms is involved in the school’s Safe Passage Club, Interact Club, Student Council and Adopt-A-Sis, and is on the Mayor’s Youth Council. “Allison also appeared on the football field for the Twisters as she was their place kicker,” pointed out athletic director Patrick Kolks.
