The Batesville High School volleyball team held its end of the season banquet Nov. 18.

“All players were recognized for their hard work and effort this season,” said head coach Kateri Paul. “It was an opportunity for us to thank our seniors, Macy Prickel and Abigail Westerfeld, for four years of dedication to the program.”

Bulldog Award winners were Westerfeld (varsity), Regina Gerstbauer (junior varsity) and Faith Tekulve (C team).

Top offensive player for the varsity was Katie Bedel, while Prickel won the defensive honors. Prickel and Kylie Laker were selected all-Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference and Nicole Fox won the varsity serving award.

Shelby Westerfeld was chosen top offensive player for the JV squad and Naia Bustinza was the best defensive player. Gerstbauer took home the serving award.
