Five-peat for Lady Twisters

Oldenburg Academy's girls tennis team completed its fifth regional championship in as many years by knocking off Blue River Valley 4-1 at Richmond High School this week. The Lady Twisters defeated Centerville in the semifinals.

Hanna Hurm and Sarah Preston defeated Haley Foster and Lindsey Williams at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-2. At 2 doubles, GiGi Dreyer and Claire Hollingsworth got by Anna Hollingsworth and Samantha Webb by a 6-2, 6-2 score. OA's other wins came at No. 1 and 3 singles. Kathryn Wilder defeated Naomi Brewer 6-1, 6-2, as Alexa Miles won 6-2, 6-2 over Mallory Cross. BRV's lone win came at 2 singles, where Rachel Snavely defeated Sarah Price 6-2, 6-1.

OA (21-1) will play either host Center Grove or Roncalli Saturday at noon.
