The Batesville Bulldogs held off the Franklin County Wildcats to win their first Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference game and the second overall for the season.

The Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats 76-62.

“I was happy with the balanced offensive effort,” BHS head coach Mel Siefert said. “We had four players score in double figures and two others score seven points or more.

“Our depth played a big part in this win ... everyone who played made solid contributions,” he added.
