The Batesville High School junior varsity volleyball team defeated North Decatur by the scores of 25-14 and 25-11. “We had a great two games,” coach Amy Maple commented. “Our passes were great, which allowed Morgan Dreyer to set up plays for our front row.” Maddi Oesterling led the team with three kills and seven good hits, while Chelsey Paul had five good hits. Maddie Giesting and Maggie Adams played well defensively as did Rylee Goldsmith, according to Maple. “The more we play, the more like a team we look,” Maple commented. “I am very proud of the team for staying in the game and running as many plays as we did.” The Lady Bulldogs were also 25-15 and 25-16 winners over Lawrenceburg. Oesterling led the team in serving with four aces followed by Paul with three. Adams led the team in serve receive with six and 12 good digs. Paul and Cassidy Werner led the team with six kills.
