Dear Editor,

The Batesville Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry would like to thank the Ripley County Community Foundation for both the $1,500 proactive grant awarded to us as a result of the area high school football teams’ “Turnover Hunger” program and a $500 proactive grant from the RCCF.

We were able to purchase a great deal of healthy, nutritious food and essential personal care items for our clients with the funds provided. Having access to nourishing food and essential personal care items means more than most people ever think about since many of us take these things for granted.

We are so grateful to the many wonderful citizens, both athletes and otherwise, in our community who help us fill our shelves, but without the financial support of the RCCF we would definitely have less to offer to those in need. So thank you to the Ripley County Community Foundation and thanks to those who have the forethought to fund it and keep it going.
