Dear Editor,

Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children is excited to share our continued growth with all of you. We currently have eight full-time staff, 80 volunteers, and are serving nearly 200 children in Ripley and Jefferson counties!

I am amazed daily at the hearts of our staff and volunteers, and their dedication to the children we serve. We are seeing changes on behalf of these children, and we are celebrating victories (both large and small) with them.

However, we still have work to do so that we are serving every child who is in need of our services. As of today, we have 67 abused and neglected children who are waiting for an advocate. We believe that every child deserves someone in his or her corner and we are committed to the goal of serving every single one.

To join our mission for these children, you can become a Court-Appointed Special Advocate volunteer.

We are already planning our third training class for new CASA volunteers this year. The class begins Friday, May 10, in Madison. For more information, or to start your application, please go to

Every child has a chance. That chance is you!

You may also donate your time or services in another way, or become a financial partner. You can find more information on all of these on our website at or please call us at 812-274-0877.
