The eleventh annual Wine-A-Ree wine, beer and spirits tasting festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1-6 p.m. at The Commons, Columbus.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Unlimited tastings and a commemorative wine or beer glass are included in the ticket price. Tickets are available at Viewpoint Books, Columbus; Jackson County Visitors Center and This Old Guitar Store, Seymour; Village Lights Bookstore, Madison; and Levenstein’s Flooring, Greensburg, as well at www.hoosiertrailsbsa.org.
A VIP tasting hour will be from noon-1 p.m. VIP tickets are $45 and are limited. They are available only in advance online or at Viewpoint Books, Columbus. VIP guests will receive a gift and a chance in a drawing for a special door prize.
Vendors for this year’s event include Best Vineyards and Spirits, Butler Winery, Cardinal Spirits, Cedar Creek Brew Co., Cedar Creek Distillery, Cedar Creek Winery, Ertel Cellars Winery, Hard Truth Distillery, Holtkamp Winery, Huber Winery and Spirits, Huckleberry Hill Winery, Hunter’s Ridge Winery, Mallow Run Winery, Quaff ON! Brewing and Winzerwald Winery. Returning again this year is de Tours of Indiana Wines. Food from First Class Catering will be available for purchase.
The event will include a silent auction with many exciting items up for bid, including a week’s stay at a Florida condo.
All proceeds benefit Hoosier Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, which serves over 6,000 young people in 18 counties of south central Indiana. Hoosier Trails serves Batesville and Ripley County as well as the surrounding counties of Decatur, Dearborn, Jefferson and Jennings.
