From countless appearances on the “Grand Ole Opry” to classic in the round appearances at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, to a touring schedule of over 150 concerts per year, singer-songwriter Daryl Mosley is a bonefide troubadour.

November is going to be a very musical month 25 minutes north of Batesville with three Saturday shows at the Metamora Performing Arts Opry Barn, 19189 Pennington Road.

For each event, doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the opener at 6 and featured artist at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 at the door. Food will be available on site. Details are offered at https://www.metamorampa.org.

Grand Ole Opry veteran Daryl Mosley, who was named Bluegrass Songwriter of the Year in 2016 and 2017, will entertain Nov. 9. Most recently a member of The Farmhands, he is an award-winning songwriter and consummate performer, according to MPA member Gail Ginther.

Miller’s Folly is on the schedule Nov. 16. Coming from Louisville, Kentucky, they are known for their fine playing of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music.

Andy Cohen and The New Florida Blues Band wrap up the barn’s season Nov. 23. Also performing during that night of country blues are Jason Hathaway and Last Drop Jug Band.

Cohen will offer a Piedmont blues guitar workshop that day from 2-4 p.m. for a $35 fee. Persons may register at https://www.metamorampa.org/upcomingshows.
