“Enjoy a wonderful brunch on us as you experience Young Life in southeast Indiana,” suggests area director Sean Boyce. The banquet is Saturday, Feb. 29, from 10 a.m.-noon at The Barn at Walhill Farm.
The keynote speaker is Steve Gardner, Young Life regional director of North Carolina. “Steve has served in a variety of roles within Young Life and has been on staff for 26 years. As a dynamic and engaging communicator, Steve has spoken to thousands of high school students, leaders and staff at Young Life camps all across the country. Steve will give you a glimpse into what kids are dealing with today, and why Young Life is uniquely positioned to make a lasting impact in their lives,” according to Boyce.
He explains, “This is our annual fundraising event, but if people want to come just to learn more about Young Life and the work we do in our community, we would love for them to attend. There is no financial obligation.”
Interested persons may sign up by Feb. 9 by going to ylbanquet.org.
Young Life is fully funded through local donations and churches. “All proceeds will go to continuing the work we do with adolescents in our community,” introducing them to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.
