The Dearborn Highlands Arts Council, 331 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg, will be the location for the 15th annual Arts Alive! Art Fair & Gift Bazaar. The event will be open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. through Dec. 21, according to Marilyn Bower, DHAC executive director.
The art fair and gift bazaar, “your one-stop holiday shop offers a unique and eclectic variety of items – quilts, signs, artwear, crochet items and more. This is your opportunity for finding that something special for everyone on your holiday shopping list while supporting the artists of southeastern Indiana.
“On Saturday, Nov. 30, drop by our silent auction .... It will include items donated by merchants and artists – Perfect North Slopes, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Krohn Conservatory, Cincinnati Reds, COSI and many more – to benefit the Artist-in-Schools project, which partners local schools and visual artists.”
The DHAC, a nonprofit organization, is comprised of supporters of the arts, with support from the Columbus Area Arts Council, Indiana Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts. Proceeds raised remain in the Dearborn County community for use at future arts events.
