The Batesville High School Kiwanis Student Leadership Academy Festival of Lights is Dec. 13-14, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Brum Woods blacktop trail, State Road 229 (Central Avenue) at South Mulberry Street. A free shuttle bus will transport spectators from Liberty Park to the woods and back. There will be handicap parking spots on South Mulberry Street at the trailhead, with wheelchairs donated by George’s Pharmacy. While the event is free, participants may purchase hot beverages at Joe’s Mojo Coffee Truck and give freewill donations for future lights improvements.
