Favorite projects: Beef, swine and foods

Achievements: Steer, foods and forestry reserve grand champion; champion light weight barrow and shorthorn heifer; junior showmanship in beef; intermediate and senior showmanship in swine and beef; and sewing for fun grand champion

Activities: Running cross country and track, playing basketball and being a part of campus ministry and National Honor Society

Future plans: To attend Marian University to study nursing while running cross country and track

 

Lainey Losekamp

Parents: David and Brenda Losekamp

School: 2012 Franklin County High School graduate

4-H club: East Franklin Flyers

Favorite projects: Beef, swine, goats and sheep

Achievements: Foods, consumer clothing, wether and full blood boer doe grand champion; market lamb reserve grand champion; and light weight barrow champion

Activities: Sitting down to read a good book and spending time with her great family and awesome friends

Future plans: To attend UCBA and earn a degree in dental hygiene

 

Jessica Mason

4-H club: Highland Hoosiers

Favorite projects: Floriculture and swine

Achievements: Taking the Achievement Trip to Chicago and winning reserve grand champion in electric two years in a row

Activities: FFA, youth group, gardening and raising animals

Future plans: To attend college to study landscaping and greenhouse management

 

Julie Mersch

School: 2012 home-schooled graduate

4-H club: Whitcomb Boosters

Favorite projects: Pencil drawing, painting and starter calf

Achievements: Grand champion in art for two years and champion in basic crafts with her pottery project

Activities: Soccer, softball, art, baby-sitting her nieces and nephews and hanging out with friends and family

Future plans: Undecided
