---- — Enhanced Telecommunications Corp. officials are committed to advancing educational opportunities and helping the youth within the communities they serve reach their academic goals by awarding scholarships to area high school seniors annually. New this year, scholarships are now available to seniors in 4G Wireless Broadband areas, including Ripley and Decatur counties, said Anna Ibold, wireless marketing and public relations representative.
Seniors who have completed at least two years of schooling or any home-schooled student of senior status who are current ETC 4G customers are eligible to apply. “The annual scholarships are awarded to students who exemplify an outstanding demeanor toward academic performance, volunteer work, community service and hometown pride,” according to Ibold.
The ETC 4G Scholarship will be awarded to a high-achieving student who excels in both the classroom and community.
Students can pick up applications at Batesville, Sunman or Greensburg ETC offices or download forms at www.etczone.com. The application deadline is April 10.
