---- — Nicole Flashpohler called the fourth meeting of the Morris Shamrocks 4-H Club to order Jan. 13. Thirty-five members were present, according to reporter Sarah Ronnebaum.
For new business, a motion was made by Nathaniel Walters and seconded by Nicholas Hoff to pay for snacks and refreshments. Inspirations were given by Wyatt Knueven and Sabrina Schneider. One of the leaders, Kathy Hartman, discussed the Feb. 8 family night.
Members want to start doing some community service, so several signed up to help at local food pantries. Health and safety reports were given by Tyler Kuntz and Drew Wagner. Kuntz said to wear multiple layers of clothing to keep warm in cold weather. Wagner suggested bringing small animals indoors to protect them. The Hoff boys gave demonstrations on making a snack for the Super Bowl.
The meeting was adjourned by Nathaniel Walters and Sarah Shonenberger.
