Lindsey Wilson, Batesville, was named to the executive dean’s list in the Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences for the fall 2013 semester. Eligibility for this list is reserved for those students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours in a single semester, earning at least a 3.7 grade-point average.
Joseph Romweber, Peppertown, is included in the Indiana University Bloomington School of Public and Environmental Affairs dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Inclusion on the list is reserved for students who have earned a minimum 3.5 semester grade-point average in a semester where they completed 12 or more graded credit hours, according to a letter he received from David Reingold, the school’s executive associate dean.
Ellen Heppner, Oldenburg, has been named to the IU Bloomington School of Public Health dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Eligibility is reserved for students who complete at least 12 graded credit hours, earning at least 3.8 GPAs, said Kathleen Gilbert, the school’s executive associate dean, by letter.
Ball State University
Ball State University leaders have announced the names of area students who graduated after the fall 2013 semester. They are Kara Doll, Kyle Fisher, Jill Koors and Sarah Narwold, Batesville; Derek Heis, Brookville; and Emily Einhaus, Osgood.
BSU fall semester dean’s list honorees are undergraduates who have earned at least 3.5 grade-point averages for 12 or more credits of graded coursework. West Virginia University
Parker Blessing, Batesville, was named to the West Virginia University Dean’s List with a 3.8 grade-point average, higher than the 3.5 required. He will graduate this spring with a major in finance and minor in economics.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee held its commencement ceremony Dec. 15.
Benjamin De Mers, Batesville, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Letters and Science.
Northern Kentucky University
Northern Kentucky University welcomed the Class of 2018 to campus. Two local students were Liam Bowser, Batesville, and Logan Linkmeyer, Cross Plains.
Two area students were named to the Hanover College dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester.
Hunter Blake, a Franklin County High School graduate and senior computer science major, is the son of Randel and Carol Blake. Megan Meyer, a Batesville High School graduate and sophomore undeclared major, is the daughter of Michael and Brenda Meyer, Oldenburg.
To qualify for this list, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or better.
University of Cincinnati
The University of Cincinnati dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester has been released.
Area students making the list include Francis Glaser, Kelly Hamm, Peter Lamping, Allen McPherson, Emily Morrison and Megan Roell, Batesville; Jason Werner, Oldenburg; Jacob Brunemann, Brittany Covert, Deirdre Elfers, Adam Frondorf and Elizabeth Rice, Sunman; and Courtney Crabtree, Paul Keppler, Karen Schmitt and Kayla Stevens, Milan.
Several area students have been named to the Butler University dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester.

Jessica Wagner and Amy Wuestefeld, Batesville, have been named to the Anderson University dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester.
To be named to this list, students must earn a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
University of Northwestern Ohio
Trevor Smith, Batesville, has been named to the University of Northwestern Ohio College of Applied Technologies dean’s list for the November 2013 session. To attain that status, he received a grade-point average of at least 3.5.
Abigail Williams, Batesville, a senior majoring in psychology, has been named to the Trine University president’s list for the fall 2013 semester.
To be named to this list, a student must have at least a 3.75 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and carry at least 15 credit hours.
