Werner and Lanham united in marriage

Karen Werner and Eric Lanham were married April 26, 2008, during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Louis Catholic Church officiated by the Rev. Dennis Duvelius.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Shirley Werner, Batesville. The groom is the son of Glenn and Beverly Lanham, Campbellsville, Ky.

Brian Werner escorted his daughter to the altar. Friend Emily Meyer was the maid of honor and cousin Erin Domoe was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth, Sarah and Amy Jo Werner, the bride’s sisters; Rebecca Clark, the groom’s sister; and friends Ashlee Schnur, Shannon Gunter and Amanda Rennekamp.

Friend Audra Brewer was the junior bridesmaid and Haley Clark, the groom’s niece, was the flower girl.

Friends Andy Schneider and Kevin Alexander served as best men. The groom’s attendants were friends Dan Saterfield, Craig Buffo, Shane Smith, Ricky Crowe, Jason Howard, Courtney Barker and Brian Beebe. Alex Wood, the bride’s godson, was the junior groomsman and Anthony Clark was the ring bearer.

Ushers included Kevin Wessel, friend of the bride; Phil Werner, cousin of the bride; Tommy Ison, the groom’s friend; and Andy Clark, the groom’s brother-in-law.

After a reception at the Batesville Knights of Columbus Hall, the couple spent their honeymoon in Destin, Fla. They are living at 434 S. Main St., Batesville, IN 47006.

Karen Lanham graduated from Batesville High School in 2003 and Ivy Tech Community College in 2007. She works as a phlebotomist at Margaret Mary Community Hospital and as a medical assistant at Oncology Hematology Care, Cincinnati.

Eric Lanham, a Batesville Casket Co. C-60 associate, attended Taylor County High School, Campbellsville, Ky.
