Oldenburg Water

Pressure Lower

The Oldenburg water tower will be drained and cleaned Tuesday, April 29, starting at 8 a.m. Residents should expect lower water pressure that day.

Library Computer Course

Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a beginning Internet class Tuesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. Registration may be required: 812-663-2826.

Microenterprise Assistance Program Meeting

The City of Batesville was awarded an $80,000 Microenterprise Assistance Program Grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. A $5,000 to $20,000 loan can be made to a new or existing business that has five or fewer low to moderate income employees, at least one of whom must be an owner. A meeting to discuss the new program is Tuesday, April 29, at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Building’s council chambers.

ECHS AfterProm Meeting

The East Central High School AfterProm Committee will meet Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. in the ECHS cafeteria. Help is needed Friday-Saturday, May 2-3, to decorate for the AfterProm. Info or to sign up: Tina Grubbs, 812-637-9938.

VFW Dinner

Fried chicken, tenderloin sandwiches, hamburgers and shrimp will be served at the Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars post home Wednesday, April 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. for members and guests.
