The Lady Tigers were on the verge of taking the third meeting by winning the first two sets 27-25 and 25-21. But as it happens so often in volleyball, the momentum shifted and the Lady Bulldogs made a comeback.
Batesville won the third set 25-14 and the fourth 25-18. The short fifth and deciding set also went to the Lady Bulldogs 15-12.
The Lady Bulldogs racked up some big statistics over the five sets. Most notable was the 27 kills recorded by Baumer. Goldsmith was second on the team with 19.
Defensively, Anna Meyer and Madi Oesterling had three blocks apiece.
