Lady Twisters win one and tie one

The Oldenburg Academy Lady Twisters and Seymour Lady Owls played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday.

The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half.

The second was again equally played with both team scoring one time. Oldenburg’s lone goal was scored by freshman Haleigh Reed.

Two days earlier, the Lady Twisters were 3-0 winners over Connersville.

Junior Ella Lamping scored the only goal in the first half for OA. Reed and Sarah Wilder added to the margin of victory with second half goals.

Oldenburg Academy goalie Regan Weberding had three saves and recorded the shutout.
