The Batesville Lady Bulldog continued their shutout streak to four games as they defeated the Greensburg Lady Pirates 7-0 in varsity soccer action Thursday evening.

The Lady Bulldogs started off slowly, but was able to find the back of the net in the 32nd minute as Mary Elizabeth Elkins dribbled through the Pirate defense to net her fifth goal of the season. Shelby Rupp and Rohlfing added to the Bulldog lead to make it 3-0 at the half.

In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs played better and scored four goals within the first 15 minutes of the half. Elkins added two more goals in the second half along with Kelli Hartman and Audrey Hall.

“They have executed set plays extremely well all season and Hartman’s goal was a beautifully executed corner kick,” Laker commented.
