“Sergio (Dole) and Jordan (Kramer) came off the bench to give some us some good minutes in the mid and at the forward spot,” he added.
Defensively, the Twisters continued to get sole play from Matty Hurm. Getz also credited Luke Weisenbach with “his best game of the year”.
Goalkeeper Jeremy Kelnhofer had a quiet night in goal and that had a lot to do with his defense in front of him, according to Getz. “Mark (Hoog), Josh (Kinker) and Brian (Weberding) just didn’t let much get by them,” he commented.
The Twisters will play for the regional title on Saturday at Knightstown against Scecina at 2 p.m. Scecina (10-9) defeated Centerville in the first game on Thursday.
