Schomber leads Trojans past Tigers

BATESVILLE — The East Central Trojans posted an 11-5 victory over Lawrenceburg on the baseball diamond.

The Trojans scored five runs in the first inning to establish an early lead they would not relinquish.

A.J. Schomber had three hits and scored three times to go along with three RBI to lead the Trojans at the plate. Payton Stonefield, Lucas Gramman and Cody Tallan each had two hits.

Ethan Kramer started on the mound and went five innings, giving up three runs and three hits. Nate Werner pitched the final two innings in relief.

Trojans fall to Richmond 7-6

The Trojans suffered a one run loss to the Richmond Red Devils by a score of 7-6.

Schomber was 3-for-4 at the plate and scored twice. Tallon had a pair of hits, while Stonefield, Kramer, Werner and Holloway each had one.
