It was a little warm, but Saturday turned out to be a good day of golf at the Greensburg Invitational.
Greensburg Country Club played host to 15 teams for the annual event.
The Columbus East Lady Olympians emerged victorious with a team score of 330 strokes. Columbus North was second with 340 followed by Mooresvillle with 348.
The Batesville Lady Bulldogs were fourth with a team total of 375. Jennings County rounded out the top five with 396. Oldenburg Academy finished 11th with a score of 434.
Batesville High School junior Madison McCreary carded an 18-hole score of 78 to place second overall.
Gabby Cooper was second for Batesville with a 98 followed by Madison Harsh (99) and Samantha Heidlage (100). Meg Liter was fifth on the team with a 111.
The Lady Twisters were led by Meghan Gray with an 18-hole total of 103 followed by Gabrielle Mungcal with a 107. Caroline Storms was third with 107, while Mia Hillenbrand and Tahoe McGraw added 116 and 121, respectively.
Caroline Smith of Columbus East claimed medalist honors with a score of 75.
