---- — Two of the Top 20 girls teams in Class A met on the soccer field and not much was determined other than they seem to be evenly matched.
The No. 3 Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers and No. 18 Oldenburg Academy played to a 2-2 tie.
The Lady Twisters took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Margaret Glaser with less than 15 minutes remaining in first half. Sarah Wilder was able to put the ball in front of the goal and it was misplayed by the Lady Tigers. Glaser was in the right spot to clean it up.
The Lady Tigers responded quickly in the second half and scored a pair of goals within the first 10 minutes.
Oldenburg kept working and rallied late to score with two minutes remaining. Freshman Elizabeth Schulte took a shot from 25 yards out and it bounced over the goalkeeper’s head.
Two days earlier, the Lady Twisters were easy 8-1 winners over Franklin County.
The Lady Twisters finished the regular season with a mark of 9-4-3.
