Lady Twisters net four goals to win

The Oldenburg Lady Twisters were 4-1 winners over South Ripley in girls varsity soccer action.

Oldenburg was on the offensive most of the night - putting up a total of 39 shots.

Still, it took 26 minutes before Ella Lamping found the back of the net from anassist by Kirsten Ricke.

The second goal came just three minutes later from a cross by Ricke to freshman Haleigh Reed.

Sarah Wilder got the scoring started in the second half with a shot from 20 yards out.The fourth and final OA goal came from senior Lizzy Bachus. It was the first goal of her high school career.

South Ripley got there goal with just a few minutes remaining in the game. Goalkeeper Regan Weberding recorded five saves.

Oldenburg improved to 5-3-2 on the year.
