---- — The Oldenburg Academy football traveled to Union (Dugger) High School on Friday.
The Twisters suffered a 44-20 loss, which was the first win of the season for host Bulldogs.
Oldenburg turned the ball over five times – one interception and four fumbles. The turnovers provided too many extra opportunities for Union (Dugger) and they capitalized.
The Twisters fell behind 14-0 after the first quarter and then trailed 22-6 at halftime. The Bulldogs countered with 14 more points in the third quarter and eight in the fourth to maintain a comfortable lead.
The Twisters moved the ball through the air against the Bulldogs. Quarterback Matt Moorman was 17-of-30 passing for 181 yards and a touchdown. Jason Kline led the receivers with five catches and 78 yards with a touchdown. Dominic Cigolotti caught three balls for 33 yards followed closely by Bryce Ahaus with three receptions and 32 yards.
Tyler Hesselbbrock rushed for one touchdown.
The Twisters (1-5) conclude their season with a game in Brookville on Saturday against Indianapolis Arlington. It will be the second meeting between the two teams. Arlington won the first by a score of 61-19.
