Special ticket procedures for Batesville and Greensburg boys basketball game

Last year, the boys basketball game between the Batesville Bulldogs and Greensburg Pirates was a sellout.

This year, school officials are expecting the same and they have implemented a special ticketing procedure for the event on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Batesville all-sports pass holders will be able to claim one Greensburg game ticket per pass. There is no charge for the game ticket when presenting the all-sports pass, but there is a three-step process for ticket distribution.

Tickets will first be made available to the participants' family on Saturday, Nov. 30, starting at 3 p.m. in the BHS auditorium.  Since this is not reserved seating, all parents may claim their game ticket(s) during this time for their immediate family (high school age children excluded), according to BHS athletic director Mark Ferguson. Siblings who have an all-sport ticket/discount card, or who are in the third grade or below allowed. High school age siblings must claim their game ticket during their SRT/Lunch time. Parents cannot get these ahead of time. Grandparents who have an all-sport ticket/discount card may claim their game ticket with the parents. The must have their all-sport passes with them, or may send their all-sport pass with a parent.

All-sport tickets must be presented for punching.

The second step is for holders of an all-sport ticket/discount card only. The date for ticket distribution is Monday, Dec. 2, from  7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m in the Athletic/Arts lobby and then from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the BHS athletic office.

Again, a BHS all-sport ticket/discount card is presented for purchase and a hole will be punched through the card. The athletic director and ticket manager will determine the location of the hole. If a card is presented a second time, it will not be honored. Senior citizen passes are also valid to claim a game ticket.
