Virginia Lee Irrgang, 86

— Virginia Lee Irrgang, 86, Batesville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Arbor Grove Village, Greensburg.

Born Dec. 5, 1925, in Batesville, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Hoff) Irrgang.

She worked in the Romweber office and was an avid Reds fan, even going to the World Series in 1976. She also liked to read. Virginia was a member of St. John United Church of Christ,  Huntersville, and the Batesville Order of Eastern Star Chapter 348.

Virginia is survived by her brother, Allen “Andy” Irrgang, and his wife,  Clare, Batesville. She will also be missed by five nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Moeller and an infant brother, Stanley Irrgang.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m.-noon followed by services at noon with the Rev. David Johnston officiating at Meyers Funeral Home. Burial is in St. John Cemetery, Penntown.

Memorials are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ.
