Paul C. Weiler, 75

-- — Paul C. Weiler, 75, Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in Indianapolis. The son of the late Clarence and Lori (Fuchs) Weiler was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Lawrenceburg.

The Guilford High School, Guilford, graduate was a retired Indiana State Police detective and worked for the Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network. Paul served in the Indiana Air National Guard in Chamblay-Bussieres, France. He belonged to several Greenfield organizations: the Rotary Club, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 140 and American Legion Post 119.

He is survived by his son, Kent Weiler, Greenfield; daughter Lori Weiler, Chicago; grandsons Drew and Nathan Weiler, Greenfield; and sister Julliann Collier, Greenfield.

Paul also was preceded in death by wife Shirley J. (Wallace) Weiler and sister Charlene Back.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home-Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. A funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church there. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to or Greenfield FOP Lodge 140.
