Stacie Lynn (Ertel) Murrell, 48

Stacie Lynn (Ertel) Murrell, 48, Oldenburg, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Indianapolis. The daughter of Barbara (Fasbinder) Wenning and the late Mark Ertel was born July 17, 1965, in Batesville. She married John Murrell Jr. July 19, 2003, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Stacie was a loving wife and mother. She worked at Valeo, Greensburg, before transferring to Ohio Valeo, but spent the last few years as a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, watching NFL and being with her family.

Stacie is survived by her husband; daughter Tasha (David) Rodriguez, Batesville; and sons Jackson and Tanner Murrell, Oldenburg. She will also be missed by grandbabies Gavin, Leilan and Isabela Rodriguez; sister Tonya (Todd) Dickman, Batesville; mother and stepfather Barbara and Don Wenning, Batesville; father-in-law John Murrell Sr.; and mother-in-law Sharon Schafer.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 28, at the Brookville American Legion Hall, 1290 Fairfield Ave., Brookville, starting at 12:30 p.m. with lunch being served.
