Elden “Butch” Huber, 77

— Elden “Butch” Huber, 77, St. Leon, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in Cincinnati.

The son of the late Everett and Susan (Rothfeld) Huber was born May 6, 1935, in Brookville. On July 27, 1963, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Leon, he married Helen (Volk) Huber.

The former Monsanto, Cincinnati, maintenance worker was a member of that church and also the North Dearborn Conservation Club, Fernald Trap Team, St. Leon Potato Derby and St. Leon Pole Raising Committee.

Survivors include three sons: Don (Lisa) and Bob (Marla) Huber, Logan, and Jim (Debbie) Huber, Harrison, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His wife and a brother, Kenneth E. Huber, also preceded him in death.

After an 8:30 a.m. rosary service Thursday, Jan. 3, at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home, Dover, visitation is from 9-11:15 a.m. A funeral Mass officiated by Father Scott Nobbe follows at noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
