Susan M. Huffmeyer, 48

Susan M. Huffmeyer, 48, Napoleon passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at her home. 

She was born in Batesville Sept. 24, 1965. She was married to Douglas Huffmeyer Nov. 15, 1986, and he survives. 

Other survivors include her parents, Raymond and Rose (Simmermeyer) Weisenbach, Morris; her mother-in-law, Alice Huffmeyer, Napoleon; five daughters: Holly (Matt) Holland, Milroy, Audrey (Jeff) Fuller, Osgood, Heather, a sophomore at Purdue University, Lindsey and Allyson, both at home; one son: Corey, at home; three brothers: Joe (Bonnie) Weisenbach and John Weisenbach, Greensburg, and Jeff (Cindy) Weisenbach, Batesville; four sisters: Kim (Leroy) Hountz, Sunman, Shari (Mark) Strassell, Morris, and Sandy (Dave) Volk and Kristy Weisenbach, Greensburg. 

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Norman Huffmeyer; and her brother-in-law, Mike Huffmeyer. 

Mrs. Huffmeyer was a 1983 graduate of East Central High School and a 1985 graduate of the Institute of Medical Technology, Cincinnati. She had worked for Margaret Mary Community Hospital as a medical assistant. Susan was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Napoleon. 

Visitation is Monday, April 14, from 4-8 p.m. at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles; and Tuesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Jennifer Owen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be given to Relay for Life, Margaret Mary Health Foundation Hospice Fund or St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
