Patricia A. Randle, 82

BATESVILLE —

Patricia A. Randle, 82, Batesville, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at St. Andrews Health Campus after a long illness. 

She was born July 1, 1931, in Batesville and was the daughter of Mary (Hillenbrand) and William J. Kelley and the granddaughter of Clara and John Hillenbrand. She married Edwin Randle, and he preceded her in death March 19, 1981.

Pat attended St. Louis School and the Nazareth Academy, Bardstown, Ky. She was a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Batesville Culture Club, Margaret Mary Hospital Guild and volunteered her time and talents with special education students at the Batesville Community School Corp. She worked at Batesville Casket Co. for many years and enjoyed making pottery, quilting, knitting, needlepoint and reading.

Pat is survived by her brothers William M. (Kim) Kelley, Batesville, and Robert Kelley, Cape Coral, Fla.; nephews William J. “B.J.” (Dr. Lisa) Kelley II, Batesville, and Jack (Sarah) Kelley, Bend, Ore.; nieces Karen Kelley (Kevin) Liederbach, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., Betsy Kelley (Tom) Ertel, Batesville, and Molly Kelley (Jim) Wooley, Fort Myers, Fla.; great-nephews Blaise and Andrew Liederbach, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., Connor Kelley, Batesville, and William and Grant Story, Batesville; great-nieces Emily Kelley, Batesville, Kelley Liederbach, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., and Macy and Zoe Wooley, Fort Myers, Fla.; as well as numerous cousins. “Aunt Pat,” as she was known to most, will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 4, from 4-7 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home with a rosary service at 4 p.m. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at St. Louis Church with the Rev. Randy Summers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

 The family requests memorials to Phi Beta Psi Sorority Cancer Research.
