Virginia K. Schneider, 87

Virginia K. Schneider, 87, Lookout, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at her residence. 

The daughter of Oscar (Democrat) and Edna (Gayheart) Grigsby was born Thursday, July 22, 1926, at Hardburly, Ky. She married Walter Clark in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1952. Later she married Edward Schneider in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 2010. 

Virginia was a nurse at the Whitlatch Clinic, Milan, and also for Fernald in Ohio, and she worked for 19 years at Hill-Rom. She was a member of the Delaware United Methodist Church. Virginia loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Virginia is survived by daughters Debbie (husband Dennis) Carroll, Osgood, and Karen (husband Harold) Griffin, Sunman; and grandchildren Matthew (wife Donnelle) Griffin, Joe and Aaron Carroll and Andrea (husband Travis) Rohrig. 

In addition to her husbands, Virginia was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 10, from 9-11 a.m., then funeral services for Virginia will be held at 11 a.m. at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan, with Pastor Tommy Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in Craven Cemetery south of Milan. Memorials may be made to Delaware United Methodist Church. Persons may go to www.lawscarrmoore.com to sign the online condolence register.
