Jeanette Roberts, 91

— Jeanette Roberts, 91, Batesville, formerly of Moores Hill, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at The Waters of Batesville.  

The daughter of Jacob and Minnie (Lutes) Hughes was born Jan. 11, 1922, in Lancaster, Ky. In 1959, she married William Roberts, who preceded her in death in 1977.

She was a homemaker of the Baptist faith. Jeanette liked going to yard sales, shopping, quilting, needlepointing, working on crossword puzzles and baking, and she liked spending time with her family and friends.

Jeanette is survived by her sons: Andy (Carol) Hanna, Batesville, and Larry (Joyce) Hanna, North Vernon; a sister: Dorothy Miller, Moores Hill; a niece: Audrey Dobson; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Ed Hughes; three sisters: Fannie Naylor, Bertha Hughes and Nora Naylor; and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral services with Charlie Miller officiating at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill.

Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery there.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Margaret Mary Community Hospital.
