Rita M. Kramer, 89

Rita M. Kramer, 89, Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Waldron Health and Rehab Center, Waldron.

She was born in Oldenburg Oct. 2, 1923, to Jacob and Elizabeth (Nunlist) Werner. She was married to Jacob Kramer Sept. 14, 1946, and he preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1990.

Rita was a St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greensburg, member and a St. Lawrence Auxiliary 50-year member.

Rita is survived by two sons: Joseph (Debbie) Kramer, Columbus, and Charles (Carol) Kramer, Greensburg; seven daughters: Dorothy Kramer and Marietta (James) Hagerty, Westport, Dolores (Tom) Nielson, Columbus, Patricia (Robert) Klene, Joanne (Kenneth) Scudder, Rose (Thomas) Parker and Margie (Robert) Wood, Greensburg; one sister: Henrietta Stein, Oldenburg; 32 grandchildren; and 82 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Mathias, Leo, Joseph and Henry Werner; and three sisters: Sister Rita Agnes of Sisters of St. Francis, Gertrude Riedeman and Elenora Kramer.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 18, from 2-6 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg. The family will lead a rosary service following visitation. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Building Fund. Online condolences can be posted at
