Terry N. Yeager, 64, Morris, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at his home.
The son of the late Edwin and Lillian (Bedel) Yeager was born Feb. 2, 1949, in Batesville. He married Roberta Yeager at the Delaware Firehouse Sept. 11, 1982.
The U.S. Army veteran served in Vietnam and was a member of Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 and Milan American Legion Post 235. Terry retired from Batesville Tool & Die and worked many years prior to that position at the Morris Feed Mill. He liked playing cards, going to the casinos and VFW, and drinking beer. Terry also enjoyed being outdoors, going dancing, watching NASCAR, football and having a good time. He was a wonderful man, according to his wife.
He will be dearly missed by his wife; daughters Penny (Tim) Hartman, Milan, and Patty (Don) Wood, Cleves, Ohio; son Rob (Lea) Burdette, Milan; six grandsons; one granddaughter; brother Wally Yeager, Batesville; and sisters Lauren (Bill) Voegele, Carol (Darryl) Ryan and Louise (Jerry) Volk, Morris, and Leola (Marvin) Craig, Columbia City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Martin Yeager and Edwin Yeager Jr. and sister Viola Berry.
Visitation Monday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. will be followed by military services at 1 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Home, 1150 State Road 46 E., Batesville. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison. Memorials may be given to Our Hospice of Decatur/Shelby, 2626 E. 17th St., Columbus, IN 47201.
