Wade Preston Narwold, 50, Batesville, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, in Batesville.

The son of Allen and Mary Lou (Linkmeyer) Narwold was born July 9, 1959, in Greensburg. He married Ann (Krieger) Narwold July 26, 1986, at St. John United Church of Christ, Huntersville, and she survives.

The lifelong farmer, a 1977 Batesville High School graduate, was a St. John United Church of Christ member. He was also a St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crossroads, former member.

Survivors, all in Batesville, also include a daughter: Barbara Jo “B.J.” Narwold; a son: Colt Narwold; his parents; and one sister: Amy Siebert.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother: Roger Narwold.

Visitation is Thursday, July 23, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., followed by the funeral officiated by the Rev. David Johnston at St. John United Church of Christ. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Ripley County Community Foundation or a scholarship fund for his children in care of Meyers Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
