Donald Lee Wilhoit, 79, Greensburg, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Hospice Inpatient Care Facility, Columbus.
Born July 29, 1928, in Decatur County, he was the son of the late George and Josephine (Vernon) Wilhoit. He married Ruth (Barnard) Wilhoit Sept. 23, 1949, in Greensburg, and she survives.
The Greensburg Wesleyan Church member was a Delta Faucet supervisor until his retirement in 1989. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking photographs.
Survivors also include one daughter: Donna Niehoff, Batesville; three grandchildren: Benjamin Niehoff, Angela Delvecchio and Carrie Sander; and eight great-grandchildren: Alexandria and Austin Niehoff, Sydney Clark, Rian, Kieran and Finley Delvecchio, and Josephine and Liam Sander.
Visitation is Monday, May 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg, and Tuesday, May 6, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Greensburg Wesleyan Church. The funeral officiated by the Rev. Doug Preston immediately follows there. Burial is at South Park Cemetery.
