Flannery replaces Struewing on board

The Batesville Herald-Tribune

---- — Bill Flannery has been appointed to the Batesville Board of Works, according to Mayor Rick Fledderman.

Flannery is a Batesville Economic Development Commission member, Cierra’s Club director, Batesville Area Historical Society director and former Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce president.

He replaces Ham Struewing, who requested to not be reappointed to the board.

Fledderman stated, “I am most appreciative of Ham’s commitment and dedication to the city of Batesville over the past 10 years. Ham is a valuable asset to our community and to this administration. He will continue to serve in other roles within the administration.

“With Bill’s appointment to the Board of Works, we have the same common sense and bi-partisan approach to issues and concerns facing the city as we did with Ham. We look forward to working with Bill in this new capacity.”

The Board of Works is comprised of three members, all appointed by the mayor, and includes Gene Lambert, Flannery and Fledderman.
