Batesville government appointments detailed

2014 city appointments have been announced by Batesville Mayor Rick Fledderman.

Three appointments are made on an annual basis: Stan Holt, police chief; Todd Schutte, fire chief and homeland security director; and Lynn Fledderman, city attorney.

Other department heads also were listed: Scott Bauer, gas utility manager; Steve Wintz, water utility manager; Randy Jobst, wastewater utility manager; Mike Baumer, parks manager; Alex Davis and Emily Weberding, Batesville Memorial Pool managers; Tim Macyauski, street and building departments director of operation.

Other persons also are named annually: Gene Lambert, council president; Ed Goble, Ripley County Beverage Board.

Some city boards also require annual appointments:

Board of Public Works and Safety: Rick Fledderman, Bill Flannery and Gene Lambert.

Redevelopment Commission: Mike Bettice, Dennis Harmeyer, Andy Saner, Darrick Cox, Beth Meyers and Steve Stein (nonvoting).

Advisory Plan Commission: Dave Raver, Tony Gutzwiller, Doug Amberger, Rick Fledderman, Beth Meyers, Darrick Cox and Chris Fairchild.

Plan Commission Technical Advisory Committee: Rick Fledderman, Randy Jobst, Steve Wintz, Scott Bauer, Stan Holt, Todd Schutte, Tim Macyauski, Lynn Fledderman and Ed Krause.

Utilities Service Board members are appointed to staggered, four-year terms: Tim Dietz, Arnie Kirschner, Sue Siefert, Hank Pictor and Cliff Nordmeyer.

Many committee appointments vary between one and four years:

Ripley County Health Department: Bill Hisrich.

Board of Zoning Appeals: Tony Gutzwiller, Luke Kaiser, Ken Wanstrath, Mary K. Cambron and Dave Raver.

Industrial Park Commission: Andy Saner, Rick Fledderman, Dale Meyer, Dennis Harmeyer and Gene Lambert.

Economic Development Commission: Dennis Harmeyer, Bill Flannery, Andy Saner, Lori Feldbauer and Gene Lambert.

Parks and Recreation Board: Don Karbowski, Chris Bradford, Ed Negovetich, Bob Fitzpatrick and Tim Hunter.

Rural Fire Department: Bob Narwold (term).
