Kraus named firefighter of year

Keith Kraus was named Firefighter of the Year for the Morris Volunteer Fire Department at the Jan. 24 annual meeting. The award is voted on by department members, according to member Ed Scheele.

Kraus joined the fire department in 2004. He has a Firefighter I Certification and is president of the organization.

“The Morris firemen would like to invited everyone to their breakfast Sunday, March 9, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at Schad Hall, Morris,” Scheele notes.
