---- — Ripley County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and persons on County Road 425 North near Osgood at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, according to an RCSO news release.
When deputies arrived, they located several subjects in different locations and ultimately what is believed to be a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in the vehicle in which the subjects were traveling.
Three were arrested for manufacturing the drug: Giana Getz, 26, and Travis Manlief, 27, Greensburg; and Allen Herbert, 54, Millhousen. Sheriff Tom Grills reminds, "All people arrested are innocent until proven guilty in court."
The release stated, "The investigation to this point has been forwarded to the Ripley County Prosecutor's Office for formal charging." This case is still under investigation by RCSO.
Also assisting at the scene were the Osgood Police Department and Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Team.
