Hard work pays off: My greatest personal accomplishment is graduating from college and passing my national board exam to become a registered dietitian .... Since this is my first career out of college, I would say that acquiring the job of food and nutrition services director is my greatest professional accomplishment.
Future goals: To gain professional experience while balancing my personal life, too. I hope to advance in my career and also raise a family in the future.
My family: I am the younger of two girls. My sister is 13 years older than me and married with two little girls, ages 2 and 6. I am engaged and set to get married to my fiancé, Tyler, Sept. 28 of this year. My parents have been married for 26 years and have given me an ideal model of how a happy marriage works.
Hobbies: Playing on a coed indoor soccer team and softball team, cooking, reading, swimming, snowboarding and being with friends and family.
My strengths: My ability to see outside of the box, organization, problem solving and optimism.
Words of wisdom: My advice to others is to always look at the good before the bad. It is easy to get bogged down with stress, sorrow and pain, but remember the good things in your life that keep you motivated. Always remember to work hard!
