Batesville is the site of three Southeastern Indiana Economic Opportunity Corp. workshops this month.
“Careers in Child Care” takes place Tuesday, July 9, from 6- 8:30 p.m. Some may wonder, “How do I turn my love for children into a career?” It’s hard to know what’s out there and where to start. Many people choose child care as a career without knowing much about their options. This Webinar will help individuals who are considering child care as a profession by discussing the different types of careers along with the education requirements for each. The cost is $5. To register: 800-755-8558, Ext. 232; or email@example.com.
“Introduction to the Foundations” is slated for Wednesday, Jul 17, from 6- 8 p.m. This free, fun, interactive session will provide participants with opportunities to use the foundations to the Indiana academic standards, birth to age 5, to build on their current learning activities. It provides experiences that impact the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of children. To register: 800-755-8558, Ext. 216; or firstname.lastname@example.org.
