Batesville Police Department officers responded to 36 primary offenses in October, according to a CrimeStar Law Enforcement Records Management System report.
The highest category was thefts at six, followed by domestic battery and mischief, three each.
Two incidents were recorded in each of these categories: burglary, fraud, harassment, possession of marijuana, driving while suspended with prior, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, welfare check on an individual and warrant service.
Officers responded to one battery, sexual battery, residential entry, check fraud, disorderly conduct, operating a vehicle with a breath alcohol concentration of .15 and also assisted another agency with a supplemental case report.
The Batesville dispatch center received 555 calls for service last month. They included 108 requests by police for Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles information, 84 traffic stops, 37 alarm calls, 29 traffic accidents and 26 suspicious activities and persons.
There were also reports of 14 personal crimes, 14 animal complaints, 11 traffic complaints, eight domestic cases, seven lost and found items, seven parking problems, six property crimes, five civil disputes, four mental health and three drunk drivers or pedestrians.
