Real estate and personal property taxes in Franklin County are due Nov. 10, said treasurer Becky Oglesby Nov. 7.

There is a dropbox near the entry at the government center, 1010 Franklin Ave., Brookville. Tax statements can be mailed with postmarks no later than Nov. 10.

The due date for 2007 payable 2008 fall property taxes in Ripley County is Nov. 10, reports county treasurer Earline Copeland. The treasurer’s office at the Versailles courthouse will be open Friday, Nov. 7, and Monday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office is closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
