PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, the City of Batesville extends our "Congratulations" to the Batesville Bulldogs on their Sectional victory at Greensburg on Saturday, March 1, 2008;

WHEREAS, the Batesville Bulldogs have advanced to the Shelbyville Regionals this Saturday, March 8th;

WHEREAS, the Batesville Bulldogs have posted an outstanding season thus far with a 22 win, 2 loss record; and

WHEREAS, the City of Batesville wishes the BATESVILLE BULLDOGS

"Good Luck" at the Regional,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Rick Fledderman, Mayor of the City of Batesville, do hereby proclaim Friday, March 7, 2008 as "Blue Friday" in the City of Batesville, and ask our local businesses and citizens to show their support and enthusiasm to the Bulldog team, coaches and cheerleaders by painting the town BLUE and WHITE!
