Food pantries receive extra bonus

Local food pantries received an added bonus this holiday season.

The Ripley County Community Foundation proactively granted $1,997 to each of the six Ripley County food pantries from United Way contributions and matches from Main Source Bank, reports Jane Deiwert, RCCF program officer.

Recipients were Batesville Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry, Fishes and Loaves Community Food Pantry, Holton Food Pantry, Milan Community Emergency Relief, Ripley County Food Pantry and Sunman Food Pantry.
